Modular clean room partitions are built from sandwich panels: two metal skins bonded to an infill core. The choices you make for the skin, the core and the thickness affect cleanability, insulation, fire behaviour and cost.
Skin material
- PCGI / PPGI — pre-coated galvanised steel, the most common choice for walls and ceilings.
- SS — stainless steel skins for areas with heavy wet cleaning or aggressive agents.
Our panels use 0.6 mm or 0.8 mm sheet.
Infill options
- PUF (polyurethane foam) — light, rigid and a good thermal insulator.
- Rockwool — mineral wool chosen where better fire behaviour and acoustic performance are wanted.
- Honeycomb — a lightweight core that keeps the panel flat and rigid.
Thickness and size
Panels are available in 30, 50, 80 and 100 mm thickness, 900, 1000 or 1200 mm wide and up to 3 metres high, on a C-type base or aluminium floor track.
Details that matter
Coved internal and external corners remove dust traps, and an M-profile connection between panels makes installation and dismantling quick. Flush glazing with 6 mm toughened glass on both sides keeps vision panels easy to clean. See the wall & ceiling panel page for the full specification, or the clean room doors that complete the partition.
