For controlled environments it is not enough that equipment works — you need written evidence that it was specified correctly, installed correctly and performs as intended. That evidence is organised into four qualification stages.

DQ — Design Qualification

DQ records that the proposed design meets your requirements: dimensions, material of construction, filtration, controls and accessories. It is agreed before fabrication starts.

IQ — Installation Qualification

IQ confirms that the equipment delivered matches the approved design and has been installed correctly — the right components, connections, utilities and identification.

OQ — Operational Qualification

OQ shows that the equipment operates as specified across its intended range: blowers, lights, UV, gauges and interlocks behave as they should.

PQ — Performance Qualification

PQ demonstrates performance in actual use. For clean air equipment this is where site tests such as air velocity, HEPA integrity (DOP / PAO) and particle count come in.

What we provide

With our clean room equipment, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and all other certificates are provided at the time of validation, and the validation tests are carried out at your site. Ask for the document set when you request a quote so it is planned from the start.
